Begin Simply
The Holy Bible contains sixty-six books. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals who God is, tells the truth about sin, and leads us to Jesus Christ.
You do not have to understand everything immediately. Read one chapter, notice what God has spoken, and keep going.
If you do not know where to begin, start with the Gospel of John. Meet Jesus through His words and works, then continue opening the rest of Scripture.
God Has Given Us His Word
Scripture teaches us, corrects us, and instructs us in righteousness. At Praise Church AZ, we read the King James Version page by page because I want you to know God through what He has spoken.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness...”

Read. Notice. Pray. Return.
You do not need a complicated system. Give God’s Word your attention and ask the Lord for wisdom.
Read. Take one chapter or passage at a time.
Notice. Look at what the passage reveals about God, people, sin, faith, and obedience.
Pray. Bring what you have read before the Lord.
Return. Open His Word again tomorrow. The Lord will keep teaching you through what He has spoken.
